I would rather bend technology to deliver more value than bells and whistles, and mentor while doing it.
I write programs on servers such as IBM i on Power (i5-i7, iSeries, AS/400) as well as more traditional LAMP and WAMP servers, that process and serve useful information.
I also like to use front-end programming that makes accessing that information easier and more effective.
Over two decades of programming order processing, manufacturing, shipping, accounting, credit card, and reporting programs gives me insight into what helps people do their jobs better and keep the economy running.
